TH Real Estate appointed Piper Whitlock to initially undertake a feasibility study for the transformation of The Fort Shopping Park, to the north east of Birmingham City Centre, one of the top five performing parks in the country.
Significant investment is planned over the coming years to further enhance the success of the park and transform the shopping experience with a more open and contemporary feel, utilising double height shopfronts and a new high level canopy feature with future aspirations for an additional A3 pod.
PWA have completed phase 1 of the programme that refurbished an initial 3 units in 2018 and are moving through phases 2 and 3 which are at tender stage. The parks ambition is to roll out the design principles across the remainder of the shopping park with an aim for completion by 2020.
