PWA was appointed to develop a feasibility study masterplan to extend the St Oswalds Retail Park, located on the former cattle market site in Gloucester. The focus of the masterplan for Hammerson was to engage with Tesco and facilitate an enlarged replacement store on the site and to demonstrate the residual site could be developed for new homes.

PWA has also been involved with the asset management of the original park, submitting a planning application for the subdivision of the Comet Unit in 2013 and advising on the introduction of a new A3 pod unit.
As part of a number of asset management projects for Hammerson on the retail park, PWA secured planning consent and oversaw construction of the subdivided Comet Unit into two mezzanine-capable units with updated fenestration to suit modern day retailing.
Hammerson asked PWA to look at ways in which the existing asset could be improved leadings. The to a treatment designed to be rolled out across the remainder of the existing terrace in the future to meet the requirements of modern day retailers.
